ArcanaWell collects the minimum information needed to operate the site. Our free reading tools (Card of the Day, Three-Card Reading, Celtic Cross, Yes/No Tarot, Birth Card Calculator) run entirely in your browser — no card draw or birth date you enter is transmitted to or stored on our servers.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and store it with our email service provider (Brevo) to send you updates. If you purchase the Personal Tarot Reading or make a donation, payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details ourselves. If you use our contact form, your submitted name, email, and message are sent to our inbox through Brevo.

We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic patterns. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using your browser's standard privacy controls or a browser extension.

Cookies. We use a small number of cookies and similar browser-storage mechanisms: strictly necessary ones that keep the site functioning (for example, remembering that you've dismissed a banner), and analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 that help us understand aggregate traffic patterns (Vercel Web Analytics counts visits without cookies). Google's advertising cookies work differently: as described next, they can draw on your browsing across other websites.

Advertising. The card meanings and reading tools are kept free in part by display ads that Google AdSense places on ArcanaWell. With its cookies, Google picks which ad appears and records how it performs, and if ad personalisation is on, those cookies can draw on your past visits here and on other sites. From the EEA or the UK, Google will ask for your consent before any personalised-ad cookie is saved, and the answer you give can be revisited whenever you like.

A card's meaning is never bent toward a sponsor: advertisers have no hand in any card, spread or reading, and they do not preview pages. Some card and spread pages link to decks, art prints or tarot journals on Amazon as an affiliate, as explained in our affiliate disclosure.

Visit Google My Ad Center to learn why an ad was shown or to turn off personalised ads. aboutads.info lets you opt out of interest-based ads from a long list of companies, and Google describes its advertising cookies in its advertising policy.

Data retention. Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your inquiry. Purchase records connected to the Personal Tarot Reading product or a donation are retained as required for our own accounting and tax obligations, typically no longer than seven years, consistent with standard financial record-keeping practice.

Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below — we'll respond and resolve verified requests within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

Children's privacy. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy. If we make a material change to how we collect or use information, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, note the change directly on this page rather than only in a changelog.
